The movie is set in the midst of the depression-era Louisiana. Tom Hanks plays a guard that discovers the healing powers of Michael Clarke Duncan's character. Hanks' character becomes a witness which leads him to question the inmate's guilt. "The Green Mile" tells beautiful stories full of rich characters that no one soon will forget.
